The importance of sexual affection
Me and my vagina have been on tour. We’ve hit Spain, Italy and Germany. Now we’re heading back to Indonesia for some sun and rejuvenation. Work hard, play hard, as I like to say. Though when your work involves the vagina, it’s hard to tell which is which.
Something I noticed in Italy is how PDA (public displays of affection) are totally acceptable. I saw it the first time I was in Rome, even at the airport people making out all over the place.
And again, on this trip, same thing. Lovers in the street, kissing, hands grazing asses.
It was awesome.
I can’t think of any other place I’ve been where this is acceptable.
I often talk about the idea of the “sexual simmer” in couples. This is the idea that you keep the sexual energy running between the two of you.
When you are having frequent, gourmet sex, it’s easy to do. You naturally feel more connected and you can’t keep your hands off each other.
Sexual affection goes further than just mere affection.
Rather than the perfunctory peck on the cheek or mouth goodbye, sexual affection is its more guttural relative.
– Pinning your partner against the wall for a passionate kiss as you pass them in the hallway
– Coming up behind them, grinding your pelvis into them, and then walking away
– Text messages telling them what you’ve loved about them doing to you sexually, or what you will do to them later
– An occasional naked body part photo
– Ass grabbing
– A very brief oral sex interlude
You don’t always have to finish the act to orgasm. In fact, teasing your partner wakes them up, revitalizes them, and builds the anticipation to your next encounter.
And it keeps you both in the habit of the sexual simmer.
It reinforces how much you desire each other, and reinforces the role that sex plays in your relationship it’s the central force.
Plus, it’s much easier to get to a boil when you are simmering, than when you have to melt ice.
Thank you to everyone who entered the #thingsiliftwithmyvagina Euro Tour contest with your lifting and location suggestions. I had some amazing ones come in and you’ve definitely helped in my search. We’ll be in touch with the contest winners in the weeks to come.
